]]>Yonder Mountain String Band has teamed up with the non-profit organization, Peach’s Neet Feet, to host the first “Peach Party On The Rocks”, which will allow children who have different disabilities or life illnesses to attend our sound-check and performance at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We are also ambassadors for the movement called “Hustle Kindness” which is the simple reminder to “hustle” kindness everyday. Not to just “be kind” but “do kind” things for others! We will be selling limited Red Rocks T-shirt (available in mens and womens) that supports the cause and the philanthropic efforts of Peach’s Neet Feet! Stop by our merchandise booth for your limited edition #HustleKindness shirts.
Peach’s Neet Feet (PNF) ignited the Hustle Kindness movement as an extension of its main mission.
Hustle Kindness Friday begins with wearing the T-shirts that boldly display the motto and then capturing it on social media with the hashtag #HustleKindness. This social media campaign is simple in its mission: to remind people to care about a cause, community, and their fellow humans. This communal experience is rooted in kindness and seeks to remind people to act with kindness. It encourages people to get out there and “hustle” and not just think about being kind and doing good. A simple mission that invites everybody to participate in this push to make the world a better place rooted in empathy and kind acts.
Peach’s Neet Feet – What about those shoes?
PNF celebrates children with through art and attempts to bring together individuals, families and supports through shared experiences. PNF’s core teachings include being selfless and sharing talents while affirming the positive effects of acting with kindness and living a purposeful life. PNF finds sponsors for each child. These sponsors fund hand-painted shoes that are delivered by Peach’s Neet Feet. Each child has something that makes them unique – whether it’s a struggle with a life-illness or diagnosis that makes these children unique – its the simple act of kindness that makes their day and creates a sense of community.
Meet the Kids from Peach’s Neet Feet who will be joining us at the “Peach Party” on August 20th
My name is Jayden Parson and I am 13 years old and in the 8th grade. I love animals and someday would love to become a veterinarian. I participate in horse therapy and ride horses twice a week. I enjoy art, being outdoors, camping, and listening to music.
Brody is 13 years old. He loves playing soccer, baseball and watching the Denver Broncos. He also loves playing with his five dogs and video games. He enjoys the outdoors and food. He is a super, amazing and wonderful kid!
Annabelle has cerebral palsy. She is 7 years old. She loves gymnastics, reading, exploring, and experiencing new things. She keeps her parents busy with her new found independence and loves motoring around a denver in her walker wearing out her new walking shoes.
Jaden is visually impaired. He is 11 years old and plays the chelo and music. He’s actually already played at Red Rocks but looks forward to returning to the venue! He also likes to ski, ride his bike, to read Greek mythology, and rock climb. The sky is the limit for him.

For nearly 18 years, Yonder Mountain String Band has redefined bluegrass music, expanding the traditional acoustic genre beyond its previously established boundaries by steadily pushing the envelope into the realms of rock n’ roll and improvisation. Notoriously independent, Yonder Mountain String Band has paved the path for a genre and sound as unique as the band itself.
Yonder Mountain String Band consisting of Adam Aijala (guitar, vocals), Dave Johnston (banjo, vocals), Ben Kaufmann (bass, vocals), Allie Kral (violin, vocals), and Jacob Jolliff (mandolin, vocals) — began a new era for the band with the release of Black Sheep. The first YMSB album produced by the band itself, Black Sheep is, by any measure, considered the most mesmeric of their career. Black Sheep marks the first time in Yonder’s history that they utilized, throughout an entire record, the conventional five-piece instrumental arsenal of bluegrass music (guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle and bass), proving yet again that the band continues to be a progressive
Yonder Mountain String Band will feature original tunes pulled from the recent release Black Sheep, along with an arsenal of originals and re-invented covers of classic hits that span a variety of genres to create a Yonder experience like none before.
Drive By Truckers
Co-founded by Patterson Hood (guitar, vocals) and Mike Cooley (guitar, vocals), the alternative country five-piece Drive-By Truckers also includes Brad Morgan (drums), Jay Gonzalez (keyboards, guitar, vocals, accordion, saw), and Matt Patton (bass, vocals). Their 12th studio album, English Oceans (March 2014; ATO Records) is an elegantly balanced and deeply engaged effort that finds the group refreshed and firing on all cylinders. Drive-By Truckers recently released their long awaited live album, It’s Great To Be Alive: Recorded Live at The Fillmore (October 2015), which was recorded over a three-night run at the historic Fillmore in San Francisco, CA.
Preservation Hall Jazz Band
The New Orleans jazz band Preservation Hall Jazz Band got their name directly from the Preservation Hall venue located in the French Quarter. Preservation Hall was among the few NOLA venues that welcomed both Caucasian and African-American musicians during the early 1960s when the Jazz Band first got its start. The current line-up includes Joe Lastie Jr. (drums, backing vocals), Clint Maedgen (tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone, vocals), Rickie Monie (piano), Mark Braud (trumpet, backing vocals), Ronell Johnson (tuba, piano, vocals), Charlie Gabriel (clarinet, tenor saxophone, vocals) and Ben Jaffe (tuba, string bass, banjo, percussion, backing vocals). In 2013, Preservation Hall Jazz Band released their first album, That’s It!, consisting of all original material written over the course of their more than 50-year career.
